Information Session with Anthoni Dominguez, Cultural Attaché, Consulate of France in Miami

October 26, 2023 @ 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Please joins us for a presentation from Anthoni Dominguez, Cultural Attaché Consulate of France in Miami and Director of Villa Albertine, Miami.

Anthoni Dominguez worked for nearly eight years as an independent art critic for specialized magazines – Mouvement, L’Art Même, Fluxnews, Nouvelles de Danse, etc. – and art galleries, but also as an artist’s assistant, teacher, or even as an exhibit curator. After joining the Corps of Inspectors and Advisors of Creation, Artistic Education and Cultural Action in 2016, he worked as an  advisor for plastic arts, museums and higher education at the DAC Martinique until 2020, before becoming the Attaché of Cooperation and Cultural Action in Miami in 2021. Having first nurtured a keen interest in transdisciplinary forms of creation, at the crossroads of visual and performing arts, his appetite for the challenges of conservation and transmission has led him to also take interest in the savoir-faire, intangible cultural heritage, and cultural rights. In Miami, he coordinates the actions of the cooperation and cultural services, notably in connection with Villa Albertine, particularly around societal and environmental issues related to global warming and migration. Anthoni Dominguez is a former Master’s degree student in Conservation, Management and Distribution of 20-21st Century Works of Art at Paul Valéry University
